Automatic messenger log in

When ever i log onto the net, my messenger automatically logs in. I have gone through options and made sure u have to enter passwords and stuff but it still logs on. I use a shared computer so it essential i get rid of it.

In the General tab in your messenger Options,(Tools>Options) uncheck the
third box "Allow automatic sign in.

I've tried that,and it doesn't work,at least not with msn
messenger...

If you have the same problem I have, it's a virus or
spyware or whatever... my messenger icon would show up in
the system tray marked as disabled ... you might want to
try reading the various entries on Ad-ware and
Search&Destroy.
