Automatic logoff

Hi!
I'm logging in to WinXP SP2 with the administrator account.
Sometime (not often) the system logoffs me just after logon.
I searched the net and found that some virus has such behavior.
It replaces a registry entry related to "userinit.exe". I looked to
the registry and found nothing. Any ideas?

The key you are looking for is here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

It should read: C:\WINNT\system32\userinit.exe,

That being said....your search findings may not be specifically related to
your particular issue.
