Automatic Expansion of Distribution List

I have Outlook 2003. When I send a message to a Distribution List or receive
one because I am on a DL I know I can click the + to expand the DL and show
me who's on it.

Can I force the system to automatically expand DL's when I send/receive them
instead of having to click the +?
 
Outlook does automatically expand the DL when you send. If you want it
expanded before then, you'll need to click +.
