automatic double-spacing between lines

When writing an e-mail message, the program seems to automatically double
space if I do not type to the absolute end of the line. It seems to assume
that a new paragraph is intended.

I sign my name with my name, address, phone numbers, etc. like this:

Justina
2038 Roe Street
Mt Talpas, CA
204 293 7727

My outlook e-mail, changes it to:

Justina

2038 Roe Street

Mt. Talpas, CA.

Help, I need to stop this and don't know how to do it.

while I have not tested this, someone said (in another post) that when
creating your signature, use ctrl-enter instead of enter at the end of each
line.

let me know if this works. Thanks
