I am a desktop designer about to roll out several hundred
laptops to users. Is there a way either through running a
script or using GPOs, that using Outlook 2002 on win xp I
can automatically configure the creation and setup of OST
files for the users, assuming that they will all be
located under the user profile on the local disk?

I would like to avoid the engineers needing to manually
set up every offline mailbox manually as we deploy the
laptops.

Any help would be appreciated.

You use the Custom Installation Wizard tool from the Office Resource Kit to
set up the Outlook profile, as well as other settings.
