Automatic capitalization--or lack thereof

I have turned on the "Capitalize First Letter in
Sentences" feature under the AutoCorrect feature in Word.
However, when typing, it does not always automatically
capitalize. Any ideas? This is driving me buggy!

AutoCorrect will fail after numbers and sometimes if the first word of the
sentence is "misspelled."
