Automatic Advance of Slides

B

Brian Mitchell

Hello, I am trying to advance the slide after all the animations are
clicked. I know I can set the automatic advance to 1 second, however
there is custom text animation that I want to wait for a click.

Basically the slide starts and plays the entry text animation and then
pauses for the user. After the user clicks it plays the exit
animations and I want the slide to automatically advance to the next
slide when the exit animations are finished. Is this possilble?

Thanks in advance!!

Hello Brian:

Sure! In PPT 2002/2003, you can do this by going to the slide
where your exit animations are, show the Task Pane by
clicking on View | Task Pane in the menu, select the
Slide Transition task pane menu (click the small down arrow
at the top of the task pane), and then make sure that the
"Automatically after" box is checked.

Have a look at the following URL for a simple demonstration.

Hope this helps.
