Automated Out of Office Assistant; external auto-reply

P

Phill

We are about to migrate to Exchange/OL 2003 and are testing now. The
Out of Office Assistant must be manually turned on or off. Is there a
way to add another rule or create a new one that will
activate/deactivate the OOA within a certain date/time range? Also, how
would I configure OOA to reply to external people (from what I've read,
it will not auto-reply to senders not on our system)? Thanks...

Not built into current versions of Outlook or Exchange.

OOA sends replies to everyone if your server is configured to allow automatic replies to the Internet.
