Automated message forwarding

Is there any way to have your email automatically forwarded to an email
address outside of the organization? I am able to set up a rule that will
automatically forward all new emails to address I specify within the
organization, but it doesn't seem to work for email address outside of the
organization.

I'm not a network admin, and don't have acess to the Exchange Server. I
can't do it locally on my machine?

Before you do anything, I would check with your legal department and your
CIO. While I was at Disney, IT put a stop to automatic email forwarding on
the grounds that they didn't want propreitary(sp?) or confidential
information being sent outside of the organization.

Nope, Exchange security is serverside controlled.
