Automate linked Table Refresh

I would like to know if there is a way of having an Access application
automatically refresh linked tables when it starts.

In the course of our work we often have data we're working on stored in
tables in one or more separate Access applications (.mdb files) and then we
use querries stored in separate files (for space reasons to avoid
transgressing the 2GB size limit) that contain links to the data tables.

When one of the querry holding applications is opened, one should used the
linked table manager to refresh all the links - just in case anything has
moved - because if a querry that relies on a linked but not present table is
opened, then the querry gets broken.

People often forget to do this, hence my question: Is there a way ensure
that the application with automagically refresh the linked tables when it is
opened.

Thanks
John
