1. What tool and script do I use to automate the importing of data from
various Excel spreadsheets into previously set up Access Tables?

2. What tool and script do I use to automate the Exporting of data from
various Microsoft program sources [Outlook Contacts, etc.] into previously
set up Excel spreadsheets?

uh use ACCESS for all of that.

DOCMD.TransferSpreadsheet

or MACROs-- in Access-- dont' worry their multiple choice

importing from outlook into access and then spitting out to excel is
somethign i could do in my sleep
