automate a cut and paste of data from one work book to another

I wish to automate the cut and past from a 12 month budget Excel spread sheet
from one workbook to another by formular or a macro. Can anybody help please
 
Try something like the following. Change the workbook names,
sheet names, and ranges to meet your needs.


Workbooks("OldFile.xls").Worksheets("Sheet1").Range("A1:A10").Copy
_
Destination:=Workbooks("NewFile.xls").Worksheets("Sheet1").Range("A1")
