Autoformat

How can I check if a range is autoformatted?
With the method AutoFormat of a range I can only format the range. Because
I'm trying to make interactive excercises for beginning Excelusers, I want
to check what they have done and give them some feedback with a macro.

I don't think that's possible without checking each individual
formatting element (or making an assumption based on unique elements).

IIRC, autoformat simply applies the collection of formats to the
selection. It isn't a style or format by itself.
