Autofiltering Makes Button Control Disappear

EXCEL 2000 VBA - IF YOU PUT A CONTROL ON A WORKSHEET GO TO ANY ROW UNDER
IT. GO TO DATA -> FILTER -> AUTOFILTER. THE ARROWS WILL APPEAR ON
THAT ROW, NOTHING HAPPENS TO THE BUTTONS YOU JUST ADDED. NOW DISABLE
THE AUTOFILTER BY GOING TO DATA -> FILTER -> AUTOFILTER(UNCHECK) AND
SOME OF THE BUTTONS YOU ADDED DISAPPEAR. THE ONLY SOLUTION I SEE IS TO
CLOSE THE SHEET AND OPEN IT AGAIN, ALL THE CONTROLS ARE THERE AS
DESIGNED.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?
THE BUTTONS ARE BOTH LOCKED AND PROTECTED BUT ONLY SOME DISAPPEAR.
THIS IS VERY ANNOYING WHEN WORKING WITH HUGE SPREADSHEETS, IS THERE
ANYWAY WAY TO SOLVE THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING CONTROLS?

I'm using 2000, and followed your instruction. The buttons that I have
stayed visable.
