autofill To: Field of new message

Hello,

In Outlook 2007 I know one can start typing a name in the to field and a
list of names appears. I know that if the name one wants is not on the list
one can hit <alt<K> and find it that way. However, after a few times of not
using a name from the list that appears one has to hit <alt<K> again. Is
this normal?

yes. the list only holds 1000 names and it occasionally gets corrupted so
you start over, even if it has less than 1000.
