Heyyy everyone. I'm having this HUGE problem because when I'm trying to
install SOME programs from a CD, it gives me a message which
says(translated): C\Windows\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT - "This systemfile is not
available to be used in MS-DOS or Microsoft Windows Programs"...
But the thing is that it is installationsetups which works at other
computers...
Does anyone have an idea... WOULD BE SO NICE, IF YOU COULD HELP...

GREATINGS

Error message when you install or start an MS-DOS or 16-bit
Windows-based program

Also can be caused by a Trojan installing a file windupdater.exe and
creating registry entries for that file.

AVAST (free antivirus software) can be the cause if SP2 is installed:

You can put back the standard version of autoexec.nt by copying a backup
copy held in windows\repair to windows\system32.
