Autoconfiguration IP Address

You have an auto configuration address because your computer is not receiving
the requested configuration from an autoconfiguration server (aka DHCP server).

Please provide some more information about your network setup. Make and model
of all network equipment would be useful. And what is connected to what?

Also, please provide ipconfig information for your computer.
Start - Run - "cmd". Type "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" into the command
window - Open c:\ipconfig.txt in Notepad, copy and paste into your next post.
Identify operating system (by name and version) with each ipconfig listing.

That address means that:

1. Your network connection is configured to obtain an IP address
automatically, and:

2. It's unable to communicate with a DHCP server to get the address.

Make sure that your network card is properly connected to your
broadband modem. Unplug the broadband modem, wait a minute, and plug
it back in again.
