autocomplete option work only for names used in current session

i have ms outlook 2003 , when i use autocomplete option , it works only for
names i typed for current session. If I exit outlook and sign again then
those names will not be in autocomplete ...I have to type agia
 
Something is causing the cache file to not be updated. This can happen if
outlook crashes, as it's not written until outlook exits.
 
....also, a corrupt profile or AV software marking the cache file as read
only.
