Autocomplete list not working

My autocomplete list for email addresses is no longer working. It worked on
Friday, but isn't today.

Anyone any ideas?

I am having the same problem. The autocomplete feature is checked in the
tools/advanced email options but when I start a new email a contact list Does
Not show. Is there another setting somewhere? THis is in Outlook 2007

Autocompletion does not use your Contacts. Have you populated an
autocompletion cache by sending email messages that would have a matching
address for what you are typing?

let me make sure I understand how autocompletion works----When I have typed
in the complete address when creating a new message, that address is
populated in the autocompletion cache. From then on, that address will
autocomplete in future emails. Is that the basic idea?

Provided the address was valid and resolved when you sent the message.

Same issue here - I have it all set up and the cache doesn't save
anything - even in the same session....

It is very odd - some days it works - others it doesn't....

State your Outlook version, how you "set it all up," and how you have
populated your cache (include recipient selection and mail transport type).
