When is SP2 going to be picked up during Auto Update?

If you have AutoUpdate turned on, it's should be there now.
Many people have updated their's Windows to SP2.

But it would be much larger than that from AutoUpdate.

there.

Because we need to test it before it Auto-Downloads to friends and
family, who will be asking for our help when something stops working?

Should start being available later today
Be wary, unless you have a fast broadband connection: expect a download
of around 100MB, give or take 20

I have heard reports some have received SP-2 through AU.
But Microsoft is reported limiting the number downloaded from AU each
day.
So it may be a while before your computer gets SP-2.
If you have 2 or more computers, it would not be unusual for one to
get SP-2 soon and others have to wait, possibly days.

Only in certain languages like English and German and one other that escapes
me. The Spanish cd, for example, is "scheduled" to be available to order on
September 25. I don't know if it's also been delayed because the page no
longer gives the schedule, just "check back" and "set Auto Update".

Windows Magazine Issue 37 on sale 3 September

Yes - that though is a UK commercial magazine, and may not be that
easily available *with cover disk* in other countries. But I am
expecting other computer mags will have it during September
