Can autotext be copied from one PC to another in Word 2003?

Yes.

AutoText is stored in a template -- if you didn't change the "Save In"
setting in the AutoText dialog, it will be in the Normal.dot template.

It would be possible to copy the Normal.dot template from one computer to
another, but that would bring along a whole lot of other settings besides
the AutoText, so it isn't normally recommended unless you are the only user
of both computers.

If you're trying to give another user a copy of your AutoTexts, then
download the two zip files AutoTextDumper and AutoTextLoader from
http://jay-freedman.info. Unzip the AutoTextDumper template into your
Templates folder.

First use File > New to make a document based on AutoTextDumper. There will
be a floating toolbar with a button to start the macro. Tell it the name of
the template that contains the AutoText -- the default is Normal.dot. The
macro will create a document containing the AutoText in a table. Save the
document.

Copy that document and the AutoTextLoader template to the other computer.
Use File > New to make a document based on AutoTextLoader. Again there will
be a floating toolbar with a button to run the macro. Tell it the name of
the document containing the table of AutoText entries and the name of the
template (usually Normal.dot) to put the entries into.
