auto.search.msn.com

When I type in a web address that may be incorrect or non-
existant or unavailable IE automatically bounces me to a
site auto.search.msn.com and a message appears "We can't
find that site etc." The page offers the option to search
further on MSN. I'm not sure I want my web browser going
anywhere I don't tell it to, even to this seemingly
helpful site, but I can't find any settings for this odd
function. Experimentally I typed "auto.search.msn.com" in
the restricted sites list, but this had no effect, which
seemed strange.

If this clears your problem, then check the parasite.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS, reboot.

IGetNet - parasite.

Problems: May cause IEXPLORE.EXE to hang whilst shutting down. You will also
be unable to contact the real auto.search.msn.com and search.netscape.com
directly whilst IGetNet is installed due to the Hosts file alterations.
