Auto Run Feature

I'm a new user of Windows XP.

When installing new programs via a CD, the "auto run"
feature does not work.

I have to manually find the setup file and run it.

Is there a setting somewhere or fix I need to make this
work with XP?

Right-click on the drive letter, choose properties, then autorun.
