Help ! The autorun/auoplay feature does not work anymore on my Dell pc (
4300s).
I did some research this morning about this problem which apparently is part
of XP SP2.
One way to fix it was to go to the system registry which contained all sorts
of warnings when changing the registry. That scared me from attempting the
fix.
Another was to make sure I was listed as computer administrator which I am.
Another involved reinstalling Roxio cd thingy which I tried but without the
autorun, it didn't install.
I'm also buying a flat panel monitor and will need this autorun to install
the monitor.

Help ! How this be fixed without entering the registry ???

The Microsoft AutoPlay Repair Wizard scans your computer devices to find defective
AutoPlay settings, and attempts to fix those it finds.
Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003, Windows XP

Why doesn't AutoPlay work?
