Auto Reply

Hello,

I'm using Outlook 2002 with Exchange 2003.
Is it possible to create a new rule so auto replies are sent for all
incoming emails?
If not, what 3rd party add on is recommended?

Thank you.

You want an autoreply for every single email?

What if I set up a rule that did the same thing? Specifically a rule that
generated a new email to you for every autoreply I got from you. That would
be a cool mail loop.

Actually it's work related and I just want to setup an auto reponse from a
general mailbox as an initial acknowledgement of receipt but based on your
post I will assume there is no resolution without an 3rd party add on.

If the sender is using Outlook and needs to be informed, then they might
request a delivery receipt.

If this is a repository mailbox for some kind of submission, then a
server-side rule should be useful. These are blocked by default at the
gateway, so if there are external submissions to reply to, then this is
required:

There may be 3rd party products that do this, I am not sure. There are
client-side solutions:
