auto reply

Question:
I am trying to set up auto reply using rules. Once I select my action etc
I am directed to click on 'message'. At that point I am asked to open a
file...and that is where I am stumped...can anyone help

You must create a draft. Create a new email with the content for the
auto-reply message and save and it as an oft-file. When you create then
the rule point to this draft.

And if you're using a version of Outlook before OUtlook 2007, turning off Word as your email editor before you create the draft will make it easier to save it as an .oft file.
