I would find this functionality benefitial.

In line with "Out of Office" auto-response: I would like to see an
auto-response option that would allow indications of 'In a Meeting' or 'On a
Call'

As we utilize email more and more; I think it is beneficial to provide a
response as soon as possible, and you can't always do that if you are in a
meeting or on a conference call ... with auto response it would at least let
the incoming sender know that you have not responded quickly for a reason

This functionality already exists. Create two rules: one responds with "In
a Meeting" and one responds with "On a Call". When you want to start your
meeting or call, enable the appropriate rule.

Brian, I have set up the rules and templates .. looks like this will, in
fact, provide the functionality I was seeking.

Thank you very much!

While I know it's a little more work than a menu item check, I'm glad it
provides the functionality you sought.
