i have re-installed windows XP pro following a CPU and
motherboard change.
Now my computer will not power down automatically as it
used to.
I have checked the BIOS settings and also checked the
motherboard handbook for relevent settings to no avail.
How do I set auto shutdown????

Its a simple thing but it's driving me nuts.

.
I had the same problem, followed the info. trail and
found that by removing Logitech mouseware 9.1 my standby
icon is now functional and my computer now powers down
properly. My sanity has been restored!!
