Auto Populate

I have in the past I have worked in form letters where when the first name
was inserted into the address line above it also auto populated in the
greeting line below, I have yet to figure out how to do this. Any help?

You are an angel. I was trying to use macros to create this feature which
never worked when this proceure was so much easier. Thank you sooo much.
