auto play cd

a simple question, all of a sudden both my cd-r and cd-rw
drives will not auto play the disk that i put in them, ANY
disk, a music cd, a program cd, etc. i've tried everything
i know how to do. any help out there??

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm Select A and scroll to
Autoplay enable.

tried what you suggested, no luck with audio or any other
cd. still have to go to my computer to start a cd.
