Auto-passwords

I am using Microsoft Explorer 6.02. and am no longer able to enter certain
secure-sites without manually entering the Log ID and Secure Code
information each time that I was previously able to enter just by clicking
on the Log ID box and the information was entered automatically.
Fortunately my other frequently used secure-sites still remember to allow me
to enter just by clicking on the entry box.
I am wondering how I can get the (do you want Windows to remember your
password box) to be displayed so I can choose (yes) again.
I called the sites that I can no longer enter unless I manually enter the
information and they said nothing was changed on their end.

IE; Tools; Internet Options; Content Tab; Auto Complete; Check box for user
names & Passwords, Check box "Prompt me to save", OK...

I followed your advice but everything was already set as you suggested.
I then reset all passwords and accessed the websites that previously allowed
me to get the (do you want Windows to save your password) and those same
sites produced that box but the sites that didn't allow the password to be
saved still don't produce the (save password box).
It must be some sort of mystery because I haven't been able to get this
situation remedied when posting to various newsgroups!
