Auto page refresh not functioning properly.

When accessing pages I have already visited (eg. daily
news, sports, entertainment, etc.) I get the previous
page the last time I visited instead of that day's
current posting.

This issue occurs on approx. 80 % of the pages I visit.

I can easily correct this issue by clicking the refresh
button but would like to rid myself of this annoyance.

I am running XP with pertinent IE 6 details listed below:
Version:6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633IS
Update versions: SP1; Q818529; Q330994; Q822925; Q828750

I have also run a Virus Scan but found none.
