Auto Footer I don't want

When I save a word document, it is automattically popping a footer I don't
want. I don't know how to get rid of it or where it's coming from. Any ideas?

You have looked at View | Header and Footer, and it is not there? Some
printers have the capability to add watermarks and other notations, so you
might check your printer Properties to see if there's anything relevant
there.
