auto Filter broken - frozen?? please help

I am working in an excel fil e that is less then 2000
lines long and the file is less then 10 meg - not so big.

My auot filters have frozen (drop don arrows do not work)
and will not work. Please help

I copied data to new sheets and figured that would help
but nothing.

This is really bad - CFO project.

I've had the same problem - our organization turned it in to Microsoft and
just today they have duplicated the problem. So...Microsoft is now working
the issue and will have to send out a patch. Help is on the way!

I have had the same problem. I have found a work around
though. 1. Turn off the auto filter 2. Highlight the
rows that are still hidden after you turned off the
filter, then right click and "unhide" the rows. This will
restore your data to its original version. 3. Now you
can reapply your auto filter and continue; although it
usually happens again.
Can't wait until MICROSOFT sends out the patch.
