Auto Expand on Combo Boxes

Does auto expand not work if the combo box source is an autonum field.?

It works fine for me.
If the Combo AutoExpand is set to Yes it will work on the first
visible field shown in the combo box when opened.

Are you sure it works for autonum fields ? I have no problem with it when
the fiels have numbers in them or text but autonums wont work. I am using
Access 2003 .adp
