auto disconnect

I keep leaving the internet on by mistake, can someone
please tell me how to enable the auto disconnect so I
don't have to worry in future.

Open up your internet options from either the control panel or IE's tools
menu. On the connections tab, highlight the connection and click settings.
Click advanced and in the box that comes up put a check next to disconnect
when this connection may no longer be needed. Ok your way out. Now whenever
you close IE, an auto disconnect dialog will appear.
