auto dial appears on xp load

hi,
can anyone help me please. when i boot up my pc, i get the
auto dialer appearing, i can cancel this put every couple
of minutes it appears again. i have disabled all
synchronisation with no joy. also i am getting the same
favourites in the favourites folder even though i have
deleted them... any help would be great. thanks.

This sounds like ad/spy ware trying to phone home, especially the bit about
favorites.
