Auto Complete

Seems I can't turn off "auto-complete." Yes, I know
under "Tools", "Internet Options", "Content", there's a
place where I can turn it off, but nothing in there is
checked, but still, a little "reminder" keeps popping on
the screen asking if I want to turn on auto-complete. I
keep clicking "NO", but still it asks.

How can I stop this nuisance?

i am having the opposite problem

i cant turn it on. i have reset the ie options, rebooted
the machine, registerd the dll, etc. i can not get it to
work.

Check this setting.

Tools\Internet options\Advanced Tab
Check "Use inline autocomplete"
Apply and okay your way out.
