I can't turn Auto-Copmlete off. Please help.

I cannot turn off the auto-complete feature in my browser. I have tried
everything. I went and unchecked the "inline auto complete" box under
"advanced" in "internet options." Can anyone please help? Thanks very much.

Have you tried this?

Open IE, click on tools, click on options, click on the Content tab, click
on AutoComplete tab, and disable it?
