Auto complete problem

When I go to a website where I have to log in, Auto-
complete used to ask if I wanted to store my user ID and
Passowrd and it did just that. Now I find that it offers
to store my ID and password but now only stores my ID,
not my password! Then the next time I go to that site it
offers to store my ID and password again but still it
only stores my ID.
Any help would be gratefully received.

I have been through all of that and still it is the same?
I even generated another user ID and that was exactly the
same, any further ideas?
