Auto bold text error

Hi. I have Word 2003 )11.8106.8107) SP2. I have created my own template.
Word automatically bolds text whenever I:
- change a style
- use autotext
- restart numbering

Most of the time I am writing in tables. I have read and carried out other
tips in both my template and normal.dot such as:
- turn off 'automatically as you type' options in autocorrect options
- turn off 'Built-in heading styles'
- turn off 'Automatically update' in styles

Problem however still persists. Hope someone can help. Thank you.

I had already checked suggestions in this fix, and checked I have just them
again. This is not the problem. 'Automatically update' is not selected in
any style. Checking list for UnDo button displays the actual change, not
'undate style'. Has to be something else. Thanks anyway
