Authenication Tab

I would like to know how to get the Authentication tab back in Network
Properties.
I'm getting the prompt "computer is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of thsi
server to find out if you have access permissions.

Logon failure: user account restrictions. Possible reasons are blank
passwords not allowed, logon hour restrictions, or a policy restriction has
been enforced..

I have rebuilt the network stack on this machine so that it matches the rest
on the network. Using static Ip address' - The only difference between this
machine and the rest is the file system which is NTFS. Which I don't think
makes a difference.

I looked under the registry key
HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\control\lsa\restrictionanonymous
dword is set to 0 already

I believe that if I can set "Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this
network" it may resolve the issue that I'm having..

Thanks

Hi
If you have a regular peer to peer Network with Wireless then IEEE 802.1x
is not an issue.
It is part of Wireless logon into server.
"You might not have Permission to use this network resource. Contact the
administrator of this
server to find out if you have access permissions", is usually associated
with File Sharing difficulties.
However to get more focused answer you have to give more data about the
Network and what are you trying to do when this message comes up.

I'm trying to access the other machine on the network. I have a shared folder
on the desktop on the other machine.. But now I believe I need to go back
and look at what I'm missing in the stack - because niether machine sees the
other..
