Audit feature??

There are files missing in our network and we have a
feeling that they are intentionaly being deleted. Is
there a way to track the actions of a particular folder?
Basically, can I track what user did what to a particular
folder?? We are runnning Server 2000. I thank you in
advance for your help!
 
Enable file and object access and then in the advanced security settings of
the folder you want monitored select the auditing tab and add the group(s)
you want monitored when performing action in the folder
