sorry . my audio I believedriver was deleted from my control panel. how do I
reinstall it ? Can I download it From MSor can I reinstall using my xp
installation disc?

You can always obtain the latest driver for your sound card from the web
site of the sound card's manufacturer. The web site will also have detailed
instructions on how to install the driver.

For example, if you have a Creative SoundBlaster sound card (and you live in
the Americas), you would go to Creative's SoundBlaster web site here:
