Audio vs Audio/Music

Joel

I have still pictures (NO VIDEO), narration, and music
that I want to all go at the same time. So the music is
background and the narration is heard while the pictures
are passing by. I cannot figure out how to get background
music. It seems like the only way is if I have video.
Audio levels don't work for both narration and music in
the Audio/Music row of the timeline.

How do you balance music and narration in the Audio/Music
row? And if you can't, can you somehow insert audio into
the Audio row and the background music into the
Audio/Music row?

Thanks!

Hello there,

You do it in two parts. First create your video using the background
music. You then import the new file you vreated. Drag the whole thing to the
timeline and put a second audio track (or narrate one) onto the lower audio
track.

I discover to my great surprice from one of the MVP's (Bob) if you do
any edditing, which I uess this is, then the second pass through may degrade
the quality of the video.

If you do get degredation, you can always aquire the video editing
program MovieXone off a cover disk (DVD Version) of Magazines like PC
Utilities. Using this program, which Uses Inteli Rendering, so only the
audio tracj hets re-rendered.

The big brother latest version is Called MovieDV Ver 6 and is available
from www.aist.de (I use the program a lot....pretty damm good (See Split
Video on my website

Best Wishes.....John Kelly
