Do you have a firewall or router on your internet? this maybe blocking
communications to and from your computer, especially a software firewall may
cause this. if you dont then you may have a problem with your sound
hardware? or drivers, check up on these to make sure you have no problems,
you need to provide some configuration information before i can help you
anymore but i hope what ive said helps
I.m not using a router. I have microsoft xp firewall running. Since I posted
this I tried turning off the the QoSpacket scheduler in my Lan connection.
This solved the problem with Yahoo instant messaging but I still can't get
any audio or video with Windows Mesenger
