Audio problems

When talking to my daughter in France, the audio quality
is very poor. It cuts out intermittently, and there is a
lot of delayed feedback. It has gotten worse recently.
Could be a problem with the French phone system, but I
think she does better with other correspondents in the
US. She can hear us much better than we can hear her.
Any suggestions?
