Audio Glitches

I have a slideshow set to music that plays back just fine when the project is
open, but when I save the file (DV-AVI) the audio is glitchy. It has dropouts
and slight skips. I've tried saving it a couple of times and get the same
problem, it pretty much the same places, but if I play the clip in MM it
sounds fine. Suggestions?

You have to do it in two passes. First save the video without music track.
Then import the resultant movie in another project and apply sound.

If it is a slideshow of mainly still pictures then for better quality save
it as WMV format that has output size with the same ratio as input images
(4:3). For example "High quality video (large)".

Otherwise if the content of the slideshow consists of mainly video clips
captured from camcorder, then save as DV AVI in both passes.
