audio and video track options.

i have an audio track that id like to have fade out during a scene, but witht
the fade oout option, i can not control when, or how long id like the fade to
last. also, when toggling between audio volume from the video, and audio
from the narration, the volume is set for the duration of the movie. id like
to adjust it according to the timeline. have the volume change from video
or auido tracks at my choosing. in the help menu about titles, there is a
paragraph about fonts and colours of titles, yet there is no option in movie
maker that allows me to change them. and when i have a title as part of the
video, i can not change that annoying 'blue' colour, or have it transparent.

if any of this is possible, please let me know, or perhaps a good update
of movie maker would be appreciated? thanks.

Hello,

The features you are looking for do not exists in Movie Maker

I'm not sure of what you mean by that "blue" colour

You can change the annoying blue color. When you edit the
title's animation, you just click on the blue box. Thats
the default background color. You get to change both the
font color and background color by clicking accordingly.
The option is not in a pull down menu. You can also
change the font size by clicking on the Big A or the
little A which changes the font size (up/Down).

I see the 'annoying blue colou'r is answered.

Re adjusting audio - there is a simple, but tedious solution
Select the sound track and cut it at the point you want the volume to
change. Then you can change the volume down. By selecting multiple
points at even time periods you can then gradually reduce the volume
of the track until it fades out (I used the text on the volume box as
an approximate guide and used 1-2 second intervals) - it isnt perfect
but usning many cuts and a gradual reduction people dont seem to pick
up that the volume is dropping stepwise.

Re the volume between the video track and narration track I split the
video, or audio at the point I want the volume to change, and the
point at which I want it to return to normal. I then have a chunk of
track that I can adjust the volume of the section up or down according
to your requirements. If you want fade here you can also achieve it
using the method previously described.

I know this is tedious but it works.

thanks for the tips everyone, but when i open my movie, i click on the title
in the video timeline. (the blue box) the only thing that come sup is the
two boxes in which i can type. if i right click on the blue box title, i get
only a few options, ie, cut, paste, delete, etc. im not sure of how i get to
change the animation or the colours. thanks.
