Attention MS folk, please reply (ListView on a SmartPhone)

Hi,

Last time I contacted someone from MS, I was 'politely' told to post to the
NG so that their replies are seen by all. Fine. I await your reply to this
question:

Running on the Smartphone. You have a form, there are one or more controls,
a listview has the focus. The user presses the Back Key. MS guidelines
state that the app should show the previous screen. However, KeyPress does
not 'see' the key press. How do I get my app to 'see' the Back Key key
press when a listview has the focus? This paramount to adhering to MS's
guidelines.

A quick search shows that this problem is being seen by many people. I have
verified the bug on CF 1.0 and 2.0.

Please confirm the bug and (hopefully) provide a workaround.

Thank you,

Hilton

They're only 'guidelines' after all, there are plenty of instances
that MS fail to meet their own guidelines themselves.

Right, but... :) I have a bunch of folks emailing me that the Back Key is
'quitting' the application instead of going to the previous screen.

The silence from Microsoft on this one is deafening, and dissappointing. I
thought they cared about developers, or at least had the 5 minutes it takes
to create a project, add a listview, add a KeyPress method and confirm it is
a bug and file it. Anyway, perhaps I expect too much, but if I was on the
MS CF team, that's what I would do.
